The hotel is in an excellent position for my wife and I to see friends and family in the local area at a reasonable rate. The rooms are dog friendly, the staff are very professional and personable. Breakfast is a great asset.

Location was ideal. Shops and restaurants 5 mins away. The room was clean and freshly decorated. Bathroom was refurbed. Large, clean with good walk in shower. Plenty of coffee, tea, milk etc. Large bed. Dog friendly and dog allowed in breakfast area. On the whole pretty good for a budget hotel.

easy check in, clean quiet room with good shower and bathroom. Very tidy and good clothes storage space. Staff come in and made up the bed the following morning despite me doing it myself.

The staffs were top and ever ready to assist and answer questions. Most important was the request for a small decoration to the room as a birthday surprise for my wife and this was granted. I very much appreciate this and feel very grateful. KUDOS TO THE ENTIRE TEAM ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

The location is excellently placed for the M25 A13 and Lakeside shops. The room was clean and comfy and had everything that I would expect. I decided to have the breakfast. I asked about the scrambled eggs as I cannot have diary and they kindly made me some without milk and butter. Help yourself buffet type so you can take as much or little as you desired. Easy checkin and out.

they were great and everytime we went there as i go with my mum for a few days every month as we go out to see our friends as we used to live in elm park before we moved to clacton 4 years ago and i always ask for ground floor room and they always give us room 2 but in july we had room 1 which is great as my mum walks with a stick and near to restaurant for breakfast as sometimes i go swimming early morning at hornchurch where i see my friends before going back to hotel also as we are deaf the tv there have better subtitles for the deaf

Nice hotel, good sized rooms and a fair price . A good location for my personal interests / destinations.Very friendly helpful staff. The gentleman covering the morning breakfast was kind / helpful as well as very friendly. My room was very quiet and could hear no noise from the M25 and that was amazing.

Room very clean, staff very good, and importantly friendly, particularly David at Breakfast, and they were all also very efficient. Bed very comfy. Nice selection at breakfast, although my preference is not for streaky bacon, but always plentiful even on busy mornings. Clean bar/eating area

Food was generally very good and breakfast was perfectly adequate with ample choice. The hotel was not far from Tilbury Port which we needed to get to easily and quickly the day of our checkout to join the cruise ship. Ideal for that reason. The room was on the ground floor which was perfect for us complete with good shower. Unfortunately, we had to move rooms because the kettle in the first room blew the fuse meaning no electricity in the room, which I am assuming was fixed next day. The staff were very helpful and our 2nd room was equally good on the ground floor also with comfy beds and good shower.
